This majestic hymn starts with an optional fanfare. Trumpet 1 has most of the melody with
breaks on the B sections where the horn and trombone trade melody lines. On the third time
through, trumpet 2 takes the melody while trumpet 1 switches to piccolo trumpet and plays some
famous piccolo parts as a descant including "Glory to God" from Messiah, a snippet from the end
of the "Hallelujah Chorus", and 2 portions of the "Penny Lane" piccolo solo. Lookout, there's
a high F. Not optimal down the octave on Bb trumpet, but it could work.
