Brass Quintet

Yankee Doodle Dandy
a.k.a. Yankee Doodle Boy
by George M. Cohan
arr. Zack Smith
Price: $10

Transposed parts can be ordered.

This is a a reboot of Zack's original version of the patriotic favorite.  The arrangement begins with the song played as a march, then goes into a cut time swing.  In the original version, there was no written solo -- but Zack went back and wrote out a jazz solo after realizing most classical brass players don't really like to improvise.  The arrangement goes back to the march feel, then ends in the cut time swing.  This should work perfectly in your Fourth of July show!
